Offerings must be given to the needy, not the pastors who have everything & drive expensive cars – Andy Odarky
Ghanaian musician Andy Odarky has asserted that Christians are controversial and biased especially when it comes to gospel singers.
He stressed that most Christians think that if you don’t go to church and live a worldly life, you are from the devil.
According to him, although Christianity is to worship God but also to help your brother or sister or anyone in need in any situation. Worshipping God through humanity by helping them is the true definition of being a Christian and not only going to church because the bible says if you don’t do it for the needy, but you also haven’t done it for me too,” He said.
Speaking on Kessben TV’s Around Town show, he stated that not going to church doesn’t make you unrighteous or the devil. If you don’t go to church or you take in alcohol doesn’t mean if you worship or pray to God, He won’t answer you, He answers all people even the sinners. He also made an example with himself by saying, that he doesn’t pay offerings in church nor goes to church often but God shows His mercies on him each time he calls upon Him through the endeavors that he thinks he won’t survive.
“I go to church whenever I feel like going and listen to some preaching and summons after that I go out from the church without paying to offer because offerings are to be given to the needy, not the pastor who has everything, dresses properly, and driving expensive cars whiles the poor who pay to offer are still walking” he added.
