Koforidua guy who Killed girlfriend turns himself to police, Says the cheating was hurting him
A young man is in police detention after reportedly killing his girlfriend in Trom, a neighborhood of Koforidua in the New Juaben South Municipality of the Eastern Region.
According to our source in the Eastern Region, the suspected murderer turned reported himself to the police.
According to the deceased young lady’s co-tenants, the incident happened on Saturday when the lady went outside to meet the young man, who then followed her inside the compound.
According to reports, he tied her lips together, put bits of cloth in her mouth, and then sliced her neck. Because they were preoccupied with a naming ceremony that was going on in the compound at the time of the crime, the young lady’s neighbors were unable to hear her fight.
When questioned by authorities, the guy said that the girl’s infidelity was deeply hurting him which led him to have committed the heinous crime.
