Worship leader Noel Robinson nominated for MOBO
Worship leader and gospel artist Noel Robinson has been nominated for a MOBO award in the “Best Gospel Act” category.
The MOBO Awards are one of the flagship music events of the UK mainstream calendar and have in the past recognised leading UK and US artists such as Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Jay Z, Ne-Yo and Tinie Tempah.
The MOBOs (Music of Black Origin) are aimed at highlighting music of black origin. The awards are usually dominated by secular music nominees. Noel Robinson has, however, been nominated three times since the MOBOs were initiated.
Noel has already received three awards this year, including UK Album of The Year awards for his latest album “Devoted” and a Gospel award for his contribution to the music ministry in the UK.
Noel is a world-class musician who has worked with the likes of Ne-Yo, Israel Houghton and Fred Hammond. He has partnered with global evangelists including Morris Cerrullo and Reinhard Bonnke, leading worship at events and conferences around the world.
