Abuakwa: Another sad news as Trotro driver allegedly kills girlfriend from Asuoyeboa (Video)
A 35-year-old Trotro driver named Akwasi is suspected of killing his girlfriend after both spent the night in the boyfriend’s room at Abuakwa in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
The deceased, Martha, was a 25-year-old apprentice seamstress who lived in Asuoyeboa in the Kwadaso Municipality.
She reportedly spent the weekend in the Atwima Agogo Copas in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region, where she paid Akwasi a visit last Saturday.
The father of the suspect, Akwasi speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Akwasi Ntimoah said they had to break the door of his son’s room to have learned of the unfortunate incident.
The father claims that when his son hadn’t awakened by 11 a.m., they started to worry that something had gone wrong so he went to the police to lodge a report where he was advised to break the door.
After breaking the door, his son was lying on the ground struggling for his life while his girlfriend was lying lifeless.
They were subsequently taken to the hospital where the girlfriend was confirmed dead while Akwasi is still in critical condition currently.
