A/R: Man whose photo was wrongly used for obituary poster stops funeral, heads to court (Video)
A pastor who has been identified as Osofo Emma at Sikaman near New Edubiase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana had to stop a funeral ceremony after his photo was used as the Obituary poster of the funeral.
The Funeral which was scheduled to take place on Friday, 20th January 2023 has now been postponed till further notice.
According to the family of the late Kwankye Job, it was a mistake on their part to have used the pastor’s photo for the obituary poster because their late family member looked much alike to the pastor.
Accidentally, the picture which was used for the poster was found in the things of the late Kwankye Job.
The pastor speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Kwasi Ntiamoah stressed that he can’t just phantom why the family had to use his picture for an obituary poster and thus will be seeking redress at the court of law.
The family is however pleading with the pastor to let go of their mistake for the funeral to come up.
