Mr Bonzo was apparently arrested by the police for allegedly obstructing them in carrying out their duties in connection with two missing excavators.
Speaking on Kessben TV’s Breaking News with Kwasi Ntimoah, his deep concerns about the two missing excavators from the Teleku Bokazo, an illegal mine site, was meant to ensure the security of the heavy-duty machines.
He narrated that after he received information that the two excavators were in the bush to mine, he contacted the police who came to the scene.
According to him, the police after 6 pm called and told him that they will have to leave the site and go back to their station.
When the police left, they were anticipating for a low-bed machine to transport the excavators which never came until the excavators got missing.
