Concern Drivers Union Expressess Disastifaction On the 20% Increase
National Chairman for concern drivers Union William Osei “Oga Willie” has expressed their dissatisfaction on the The Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC) statement on the public to disregard the 20 per cent fare increment imposed by the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) because its illegal.
According to him, government knows that, the entire world is in economic crises but government seems not to pay attention to the drivers plight. Speaking with Kwame Appiah Kubi ‘Mr. Speaker’ on Kessben Maakye, he noted that, there was an agreement between the government and Ghana private road transport union which does not make it illegal.
“Foodstuffs have now become expensive in the country due to economic hardship. Government should send us to court if its illegal. He said.
