The students of Kessben University College have unanimously elected Miss Bridget Horlali Agbanu as their SRC President.
She had 91.7% of the total votes cast to become the first female SRC President since the establishment of the institution.
According to Miss Bridget Agbanu, she wants to use her position and determination to inspire other female students in various tertiary institutions to take up leadership positions.
She added that the future is feminine through positive affirmative action and women empowerment.
Miss Agbanu is a level 300 B.Sc. Business Administration Student specialising in Human Resources Management.
She believes in using her position to empower women and also promote, protect and project general student welfare.
Kessben College is a tertiary institution in Kuntenase off Lake Bosomtwe Road with a city campus in Kumasi Adum, Opposite the popular Aseda house building in the Ashanti Region.
The College is affiliated with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB).
The university offers a number of university undergraduate degree programmes including BSc Business Administration (with options in Accounting, Marketing, HR Management and Banking & Finance); BSc Mathematics; BSc ICT; and BA English Studies.
