Sir Joe Laka urges GFA officials to listen to advice
Veteran broadcaster Sir Joe Laka has urged Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku and other football stakeholders to listen to differing views when discussing issues affecting Ghana football.
His comments follow a response by Kurt Okraku to Manhyia South MP Hon. Baffour Awuah concerning concerns about the state of Colts football in the country.
According to Sir Joe Laka, football authorities must remain open to advice and constructive criticism, noting that even prominent figures who once held major positions in football are no longer directly involved in the game.
“If we talk about football and its issues, you have to listen. The likes of Sepp Blatter are no longer near football,” Sir Joe Laka said.
He urged football administrators to give serious consideration to contributions from stakeholders and others with experience in the game, particularly when addressing challenges confronting Ghana’s football development.
