Dr. Franko Naro calls on Kurt Okraku to retract Statement
Dr. Franko Naro has called on Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku to retract comments he made in response to Manhyia South MP, Hon. Baffour Awuah, over concerns about the state of Colts football in Ghana.
According to Dr. Naro, the GFA President’s response to the MP could also be interpreted as an indirect response to President John Dramani Mahama, who has similarly questioned why Colts football has declined.
“The response GFA President Kurt Okraku gave to the Manhyia South MP, Hon. Baffour Awuah, was indirectly a shot at President Mahama, because the President also questioned why our Colts football is dead,” Dr. Naro said.
He further urged Kurt Okraku to come out and retract the statement, arguing that the concerns raised about the development of grassroots football deserve serious attention.
