JUST IN: NACOC arrests 3 suspects linked to notorious ‘Bolle Jos’ Drug Network
The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has arrested three suspects for allegedly acting on behalf of and facilitating the activities of Dutch fugitive Jos Leijdekkers, popularly known as “Bolle Jos,” in Ghana.
The arrests come after French customs authorities reportedly intercepted a cocaine shipment believed to be connected to a broader drug trafficking network.
The three suspects are currently in NACOC custody and are assisting investigators as authorities probe their alleged involvement in the trafficking operation.
Meanwhile, Madina Member of Parliament Francis-Xavier Sosu has cautioned that the reported seizure of the cocaine shipment in France could have serious implications for Ghana’s international reputation.
According to Sosu, the NDC administration led by President John Dramani Mahama, together with Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has worked to strengthen Ghana’s standing as a respected nation in diplomacy and democracy.
He stressed that such efforts should not be compromised by individuals seeking to make illegal gains.
