UN Peace Ambassadors Foundation Africa Announces US Charitable Nonprofit Registration in South Carolina

The United Nations Peace Ambassadors Foundation Africa (UN-PAF AFRICA) has announced that it is duly registered and compliant as a Charitable Nonprofit Organization in the United States of America.

In an official press release issued by its leadership, the Foundation said the registration was completed under the South Carolina Solicitation of Charitable Funds Act with the Secretary of State, Division of Public Charities.

According to the statement, the Foundation is registered in the State of South Carolina with Charity Public ID: *P102645*, with a status of Compliant and in Good Standing. The registration expires on May 15, 2027. Its registered USA address is 2003 Pearl St, Apt 401, Beaufort, SC 29902-3108, USA, while its Africa Headquarters is located at Mallam-Weija, Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Accra-Ghana.

The Foundation also outlined its legal status and compliance globally, noting that it is incorporated with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana with Registration Number CG010950226 and TIN C0066891027, holds a Business Registration Certificate from the Weija Gbawe Municipal Assembly (WGMA), and has a Recognition Certificate as a Non-Profit Organization from the Department of Social Welfare, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Ghana, with NPO Licence No. NPOS/GR01/LN03559/26.

In the USA, it is recognized as a Charitable Nonprofit Organization in South Carolina with Charity Public ID P102645.

UNPAF AFRICA is led by the Supreme Leader, Founder and International Executive Chairman, H.R.M Ambassador Nana Sultan Adamu Mohammed, and supported by H.R.M Ambassador Nana Masaba Yussif Coulibaly Fanyinamah III as Global Grand Patron, with Advisory Board Members His Excellency Dr. Hassan Ayariga and Rev. Fr. Andrew Campbell.

The leadership in its clarification noted that UNPAF AFRICA is an independent nonprofit civil society organization.

“We are not affiliated to the United Nations Secretariat, but we work in the spirit of the UN Charter in alignment with UN SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and African Union Agenda 2063,” the statement said.

On its core mandate, the Foundation said it is focused on mobilizing Peace Ambassadors across Africa to champion humanitarian service, conflict resolution, youth empowerment, education, and community development.

This includes its flagship program, the Global African Business Awards (GABA), and its recent humanitarian outreach to Ajumako Methodist Basic School and the National Peace Conference held at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) in 2025.

The Foundation expressed appreciation to all its members, partners and donors in Ghana, USA and across Africa for their continuous confidence, adding that all donations and partnerships in the USA are duly regulated under South Carolina law.
