A leading member and the former national treasurer of the npp has declared his intention to contest for the national vice chairman position in the Npps up coming national executive election.
In an interview with daily search light news paper Mr. Abankwah Yeboah said his decision is guided by his experience, service and his commitment to strengthening the new patriotic party for victory 2028.
“I believe my experience service and understanding of the workings of the party put me in a better position to contribute meaningfully as the national vice chairman of the npp.
Mr. Abankwah-Yeboah disclosed that a strong national executive with focus, unity and ability to ginger the grassroots mobilization of the party is what is required to ensure our victory 2028.
That’s why he decided to opt for the vice chairmanship position which he believes by the grace of God he will be able to discharge his duties diligently with commitment.
He emphasized that his political activities has been rooted in decency honesty accountability, fairness and unity.
“I believe my experience, service and understanding of the work is of the party put me in a better position to contribute meaningfully as the national vice chairman of the npp.
This is my honest prime objectives in serving the party.
The former treasurer recounted some of his achievements during his 8year tenure of office which included mobilizaing resources for the party’s campaign, introducing innovative fund raising methods, which included scratch card airtime,sales, adopt a polling station to mention a few.
also assisting and mobilizing resources to acquire property land space for the party and setting up an inhouse printing system in addition to supporting needy party faithfuls in various ways when they call to the party.
He prioritized strict financial discipline and ensured that all constituency and the regions had an operating party account to ensure transparency and accountability.
Mr. Abankwah-Yeboah said he is ready to assist the national chairperson in running an effective and focus party and has a clear strategy to engage the grassroots and the youth of the party.
In conclusion pharmacist Abankwa-Yeboah called on all party faithfuls to focus on unity , teamwork, peace and commitment to the cause of the party as we work towards ensuring victory 2028 for the party and our flag bearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
