Transfer Update: Liverpool Lead Race for PSG Star Bradley Barcola
The France international has emerged as one of the most in demand attackers in Europe, with Arsenal and Bayern Munich also interested in securing his signature. PSG are said to value the 23-year-old at around £100 million.
Elsewhere, Arsenal have made an enquiry for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international is also attracting strong interest from PSG, although he is believed to prefer a move to France. Leipzig, however, are hoping to convince him to remain at the club for at least another season.
Chelsea are continuing talks with Crystal Palace over a move for defender Maxence Lacroix. The Blues remain optimistic that an agreement can be reached, while the French defender is reportedly eager to complete the switch after featuring at the World Cup.
Liverpool are also monitoring Maghnes Akliouche, with the Reds making an initial approach for the AS Monaco attacker. PSG have previously failed with several bids, potentially giving Liverpool an opportunity to enter the race.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have submitted an improved offer worth more than €30 million, including add-ons, for Genk youngster Konstantinos Karetsas. Discussions between the clubs are ongoing, with Dortmund confident of completing the transfer.
