Dreaming of Germany? New Ghana Labour Exchange Programme Promises Safe Jobs, German Training and Visa Support

A new employment initiative aimed at helping young Ghanaians secure legal jobs in Europe has been launched by NAYT Consult in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment (MYDE) and the Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment (MLJE).
Dubbed the Ghana Labour Exchange Programme, the initiative seeks to prepare young men and women for international employment opportunities, particularly in Germany, through language training, skills development and employment facilitation.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben Digital, the CEO of NAYT Consult, Mr. Agyenna Kesse Tachi, said the programme is designed to equip participants with the German language and relevant skills needed to compete for jobs in Europe.
According to him, the company assists successful applicants in acquiring all the required documents, including work permits and visas, before they travel abroad.
He explained that the support does not end once participants leave Ghana. NAYT Consult will continue to provide guidance and integration support for up to two years to help beneficiaries settle into their new communities in Germany.
Mr. Tachi encouraged young Ghanaians who wish to work in Europe to take advantage of the programme, stressing that the company’s Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ghana government provides a safer and more structured pathway for overseas employment.
He described the programme as both safe and affordable, noting that it targets individuals between 18 and 45 years.
As part of the official launch, eight applicants who have already secured German visas showcased their German language proficiency through a short demonstration, highlighting the programme’s focus on preparing participants for life and work abroad.
The Ghana Labour Exchange Programme is expected to create more legal migration opportunities while equipping Ghanaian youth with the skills and support needed to succeed in the international job market.
