We (NPP) completed and equipped Sewua Hospital, NDC should state what was left – Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah

Former Ashanti Regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah has defended the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration’s record on the Sewua Hospital project, stating that the facility was completed and fully equipped before the change of government.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Hon. Osei-Mensah challenged the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) government to clearly state what, if anything, was left unfinished at the hospital. According to him, the NPP completed the construction works and installed the necessary equipment, leaving the facility ready for use.
He argued that if the current administration believes otherwise, it should publicly explain which aspects of the project remained outstanding. His comments come amid ongoing political discussions over the status and commissioning of major public infrastructure projects inherited by the current government.
The Sewua Hospital has remained a key topic in Ghana’s healthcare and political discourse, with both the NPP and NDC presenting differing accounts of the project’s readiness and operational status.
