Ziega blames the government for poor sanitation & floods

Ziega has stressed on the government being the root cause of poor sanitation and flooding and not citizens.

Speaking on live on Maakye show on Kessben FM on Tuesday 16th June, 2026, Ziega spells out how the past government, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and the current president His Excellency John Dramani Mahama speaks about poor sanitation being caused by the citizens attitude not to be true but the attitude of the government itself.

“If the government does not possess an attitude that will halt poor sanitation & flooding then it can never come to an end”, says Ziega.

According to him, you cannot take chewing gum to Singapore and the citizens there abide by it not because they have the attitude but because the government has made it a law and enforced it.

Ziega stressed that before someone builds in a waterlog area, the person goes through the process of getting a permit from the government agencies before proceeding, hence the government has failed to curb the wind.

Ziega urged the government of Ghana to enforce the political will. This will instill discipline in the citizens and will help curb flooding and poor sanitation.
