Yiadom Boakye Emmanuel (YB) applauds Black Stars’ victory over Panama, urges the team to face England fearlessly

Former National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) President, Yiadom Boakye Emmanuel, popularly known as YB, has congratulated the Black Stars following their impressive victory over Panama in their opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, describing the result as a source of inspiration for Ghanaian youth.

In a message shared after the match, YB praised the team’s determination, discipline, and teamwork, noting that the victory represented more than just three points on the scoreboard.

“Congratulations to the Black Stars for a historic start to World Cup 2026 with that win over Panama,” he stated. “Your performance tonight did more than earn three points; you reminded every young Ghanaian that hard work, discipline, and belief in our own can take us to the world stage and win there.”
