Mankranso 24-Hour Market to feature 250 stores, a police station, a daycare school, and more – DCE Abubakar Sedik

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West, Abubakar Sedik, has revealed that the ongoing Mankranso 24-hour market project will comprise 250 stores and several essential public facilities.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Hon. Sedik stated that the modern market complex will include a police station, a daycare school, and other supporting infrastructure designed to enhance security, convenience, and business operations.
According to him, the project is aimed at transforming Mankranso into a vibrant commercial hub under the government’s 24-hour economy agenda. He noted that the inclusion of social amenities will create a conducive environment for traders, shoppers, and workers who will operate within the market around the clock.
The DCE expressed confidence that the project will generate employment opportunities, boost local commerce, and contribute significantly to the economic development of Ahafo Ano South West and the Ashanti Region as a whole.
Construction of the market is expected to improve trading activities and provide modern facilities to support businesses and residents in the district.
