GH¢35 million invested in the construction of 24-Hour Market in Ahafo Ano South West – Abubakar Sedik, DCE for Ahafo Ano South West

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West, Abubakar Sedik, has disclosed that a total of GH¢35 million has been invested in the construction of a modern 24-hour market in the district.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Hon. Sedik said the project forms part of the government’s 24-hour economy initiative aimed at boosting local trade, creating jobs, and improving economic activities within the district. He noted that the market will provide a reliable trading hub for farmers, traders, and small-scale businesses while enhancing access to modern market facilities.

According to the DCE, the project is expected to stimulate economic growth, increase revenue generation, and create employment opportunities for the youth. He urged residents to support the initiative and take advantage of the opportunities it will bring to the area.

Hon. Sedik emphasized that the market will contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of Ahafo Ano South West and improve the livelihoods of residents. The project is part of broader efforts to promote local economic development and strengthen the district’s commercial infrastructure.
