Sporty Talented FC evicted from clubhouse after trial player impregnated landlord’s daughter – Tony Ken Gargo shares ordeal
The President of Division Two side Sporty Talented, Tony Ken Gargo, has disclosed how the club lost its clubhouse after a player who came to the team for trials allegedly impregnated the daughter of their landlord.
Speaking on Kessben Drive with Fante Quoo, Gargo said the incident created tension between the club and the landlord, ultimately leading to their eviction from the facility.
According to him, the player was only undergoing trials with the team at the time and was not a registered member of the squad. However, the situation escalated after the landlord discovered that his daughter had become pregnant.
“The player came for trials and impregnated the landlord’s daughter. Because of that, the landlord sacked us from the clubhouse,” Gargo recounted during the interview.
The football administrator cited the incident as one of the unusual challenges football clubs sometimes face off the pitch, stressing the importance of discipline and responsible behaviour among players.
