Learn to give, not just pray for breakthroughs – Pastor Prince Nana Sarpong
Pastor Prince Nana Sarpong of Emmanuel Assemblies of God Church, located at the Y/F Stadium in Kumasi, has urged Christians to complement their prayers with a spirit of giving, stressing that prayers alone do not automatically guarantee breakthrough and divine protection.
Speaking on Kessben Drive with host Fante Quoo, Pastor Sarpong explained that giving is a key biblical principle that opens doors for blessings and God’s favor. According to him, many believers focus solely on prayer while neglecting acts of generosity and support for God’s work and those in need.
He noted that throughout the Bible, God rewards cheerful givers and that faith must be demonstrated through both prayer and practical actions. Pastor Sarpong encouraged Christians to cultivate the habit of giving as part of their worship and service to God.
He further advised believers to maintain a balanced spiritual life, combining prayer, faith, obedience, and generosity to experience lasting breakthroughs and divine protection.
