Great Kingdom Medical Center Offers Free Health Screening to Akropong Residents, Announces 50% Surgery Discount

Residents of Akropong Akuapim and nearby communities in the Eastern Region have benefited from a free general health screening exercise organized by Great Kingdom Medical Center, a fast-growing ultra-modern health facility committed to improving healthcare delivery in the area.
The exercise, which took place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the premises of the medical center, formed part of the facility’s efforts to give back to society through accessible healthcare services.
Speaking in an exclusive interview, the Chief Executive Officer of the facility, Dr. Kwame Amofa, explained the motivation behind the initiative and the hospital’s commitment to supporting the health needs of the community.
According to him, the free screening exercise is not the first of its kind undertaken by the facility.
“We have been organizing free health screenings every six months. From now until December 2026, we are also offering a 50 percent discount on all surgical operations for patients, regardless of their nationality or location,” he stated.
The Senior Resident Doctor in charge, Dr. Brown, also highlighted the operations, achievements, and future goals of the facility. He cautioned the public against irresponsible lifestyles and encouraged regular medical check-ups to help individuals monitor and maintain their health status.
Some beneficiaries who spoke to the media expressed appreciation to the management of Great Kingdom Medical Center for the initiative. They praised the vision and generosity of the facility’s leadership and called on other organizations and philanthropists to emulate such impactful gestures.
The exercise attracted several residents who took advantage of the opportunity to undergo health checks and receive medical advice from professionals.
