The restoration of GN Bank’s license is a campaign promise delivered by the NDC Gov’t – Kwasi Mensah
Kwasi Mensah has stated that the restoration of GN Bank’s banking license represents the fulfilment of a key campaign promise made by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Kwasi Mensah noted that the decision to restore the license is being viewed by supporters as part of the government’s commitment to addressing concerns raised during its campaign period.
He indicated that the development has generated public debate, with differing opinions on the timing and implications of the decision for Ghana’s financial sector.
According to him, while some see the move as a positive step toward restoring confidence in the institution, others are awaiting further clarity on how the bank will fully resume operations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
