Is NPP proud of the kind of things Abronye says? – Akuoko Frimpong supports NDC Gov’t to deal with people who go overboard

Former Sekyere District Chief Executive, Akuoko Frimpong, has questioned the NPP’s criticism of alleged political intimidation under the current NDC government, following comments by former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia that democracy is under siege due to multiple arrests.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Akuoko Frimpong challenged the NPP to reflect on statements made by some of its own outspoken members, particularly Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye, popularly known as Abronye.
“Is the NPP proud of the kind of things Abronye says?” he questioned, suggesting that inflammatory political commentary exists on both sides of the political divide.
Frimpong argued that political leaders must promote responsible public discourse and avoid statements that could heighten political tension in the country.
