Kwaku Twumasi has criticized some religious leaders over their commentary on Ghana’s economy, claiming that certain pastors who once strongly criticized economic conditions under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration are now silent despite current hardships.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Mr. Twumasi stated that some pastors have become “overfed” and no longer speak openly about the economic difficulties facing Ghanaians as they did previously.
According to him, several religious leaders were vocal in condemning rising prices and hardship during the NPP government but have reduced their criticism under the current administration.
He argued that public figures, including pastors, should remain consistent in addressing national issues regardless of which political party is in power.
