Patrick Atuahene, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications team, has criticized the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) over its comments on the Bank of Ghana’s financial losses.
Speaking on Kessben TV, Atuahene stated that if comparisons are to be made regarding economic management and the Bank of Ghana’s performance, members of the NPP “should not be allowed to talk” because, according to him, the economic situation under their administration was worse.
He argued that political discussions surrounding the Bank of Ghana’s losses must be viewed within a broader historical context, insisting that the NDC government is working to stabilize the economy despite current challenges.
Atuahene further accused the NPP of attempting to politicize the issue for partisan advantage, while overlooking economic difficulties experienced during their own tenure in office.
