Boakye Agyarko Calls for NPP Unity and Grassroots Support During Ashanti Tour

NPP aspiring National Chairman Boakye Agyarko has urged party members to forgive past grievances, set aside internal divisions, and rally behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to deliver a decisive victory for the New Patriotic Party.
The call came during Agyarko’s ongoing Ashanti Regional campaign tour, where he engaged constituency executives in Asante Akyem North, South, and Central. He said unity and discipline within the party were essential to strengthening its electoral prospects.
In meetings with executives from Bekwai, Manso Nkwanta, Manso Adubia, Odotobiri, Bosome Freho, Akrofuom, Obuasi East, Obuasi West, New Edubiase, Adansi Asokwa, and Fomena, Agyarko reiterated his commitment to improving the welfare of grassroots members.
“I pledge to work closely with Dr. Bawumia to ensure the full implementation of all welfare policies for the party grassroots,” he said.
Agyarko also assured delegates of his readiness to mobilize resources to retool party offices at the constituency, regional, and national levels. He said the move would drive efficiency, strengthen party structures, and boost productivity ahead of the next election cycle.
The aspiring chairman thanked executives and party faithful in the visited areas for what he described as an enthusiastic reception and strong endorsement of his vision.
He was accompanied by his Campaign Manager, Hon. Henry Quartey, and members of his campaign team.
The Ashanti Region remains the NPP’s traditional stronghold, and Agyarko’s tour is seen as part of efforts to consolidate support ahead of the party’s internal elections.
