In Christianity, paying of tithe is not by force – Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Tumi Ankrah

Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Tumi Ankrah has stated that the practice of tithing in Christianity should not be imposed on believers.
Speaking on Church Bells on Kessben TV with Sammy Adu Boakye, he emphasized that giving in the Christian faith is meant to be voluntary and guided by personal conviction.
According to Rev. Dr. Tumi Ankrah, while tithing remains an important spiritual practice for many, it should not be enforced as an obligation.
He noted that scriptural teachings encourage believers to give willingly and cheerfully, rather than under compulsion.
His remarks contribute to ongoing discussions within Christian communities about the role of tithing and the broader principles of generosity and faith.
