The protection of our children in this modern age is a bit off guard – Mrs. Mary Owusua Aboagye

Member of the Church of Pentecost, Mrs. Mary Owusua Aboagye, has expressed concern about what she describes as weakening safeguards for children in today’s society.
Speaking on Mmma Nkabi on Kessben TV, she noted that modern developments, particularly increased exposure to digital platforms and changing social influences, have left many children more vulnerable than in previous years.
“The protection for our children in this modern age is a bit off guard,” she said, emphasizing the need for stronger guidance from parents, schools, and faith-based institutions to ensure proper upbringing.
Mrs. Aboagye urged guardians to pay closer attention to children’s activities both online and offline, warning that inadequate supervision could expose them to harmful influences. She also encouraged churches and community leaders to intensify education on moral values and responsible living.
