BREAKING NEWS: Dumsor has returned – Member of the Energy committee in parliament Hon Kwasi Aidoo finally confirms & urges Gov’t to release timetable
A member of Parliament’s Energy Committee and MP for Oforikrom, Hon. Micheal Aidoo, has raised concern over what he describes as a return of “dumsor” in the country, urging government to be transparent with the public by releasing a load-shedding timetable.
Speaking on the issue on Kessben FM with KOD, he attributed the current power challenges to a major fault at the Ghana National Gas Company, which he says has affected power generation and stability across the national grid.
According to him, the situation has led to intermittent power outages in several parts of the country, affecting households and businesses.
Hon. Aidoo called on the government and relevant agencies to communicate clearly with citizens by providing a structured timetable for power rationing, stressing that transparency would help reduce public frustration and allow people to plan effectively during the outages.
