Absence of major scandals could help NDC’s Reset Agenda succeed – Kwabena Owusu Dankwah (KOD)

Political commentator Kwabena Owusu Dankwah has stated that the relative absence of major scandals after one year of governance by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) could help the party achieve its much-talked-about reset agenda.

Speaking on the Maakye morning show on Kessben FM, Dankwah observed that the first year of the NDC administration has so far been largely free from significant controversies or corruption scandals that typically affect governments.

According to him, maintaining discipline and transparency in governance will be crucial if the party hopes to fulfil its promises to Ghanaians. He noted that the government’s “reset agenda” aims to rebuild public trust, strengthen institutions, and improve economic management.

“If they continue to govern without major scandals and remain focused on their policies, their reset agenda may succeed,” KOD said.

He added that public confidence in government often depends not only on economic performance but also on the integrity and accountability of leadership.
