You are disgracing our religion & allowing people to make a mockery of Christianity – Kojo Preko Dankwah, host of Kessben Maakye, blasts pastors involved in election prophecies

Kojo Preko Dankwah, host of Kessben Maakye on Kessben TV/FM, has strongly criticized pastors who involve themselves in election prophecies, accusing them of bringing Christianity into disrepute.
According to him, such actions are allowing the public to mock the Christian faith.
Reacting to the just-ended NPP presidential primaries, Kojo Preko Dankwah specifically cited Pastor Bernard Eshun, who had publicly prophesied a victory for Kennedy Agyapong. Contrary to that prediction, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia emerged winner, rendering the prophecy unsuccessful.
“You are disgracing our religion and allowing people to make mockery of Christianity,” the broadcaster said, stressing that repeated failed prophecies weaken the credibility of the Church and expose it to public ridicule.
He argued that dragging the pulpit into partisan politics through prophetic declarations not only misleads followers but also undermines the true message of Christianity.
Kojo Preko Dankwah called on pastors to exercise restraint and uphold the integrity of the faith, rather than using prophecy to predict electoral outcomes that ultimately depend on voters.
