Prince Owusu Bonah Foundation donates Quarry stones to support Boete Central Mosque Construction

The leadership of the Boete Central Mosque in Obuasi has received a generous donation of quarry stones worth GHC 6,400 from Prince Owusu Bonah, a politician, philanthropist, and CEO of Success Links Consult.

The donation, which came through the POB Foundation, is intended to support the ongoing construction of the mosque.

The leaders of the mosque expressed deep appreciation for the support, describing the quarry stones as a timely and much-needed contribution to the project.

Speaking during the donation, Mr. Prince Owusu Bonah emphasized the importance of religious unity in Ghana. He stated, “Whether Christian or Muslim, we all worship one God. Our faith should not limit our willingness to make a positive impact in our communities.” He further noted that he did not hesitate or consider religious differences before making the donation to the Muslim community.

Alhaji Suleman Dawudu, the Deputy Chief Imam for Obuasi West, also praised the gesture, calling it a strong example of religious tolerance and collaboration. He encouraged both Christians and Muslims to continue supporting each other to strengthen the peaceful coexistence Ghana enjoys.

He added that the donation will significantly support the completion of the mosque, providing a conducive space for worship and community gatherings. “This will allow more people to benefit from sermons and teachings once the project is complete,” he noted.

The gesture has been widely commended as a model of interfaith support and community development.
