BREAKING: RE-Autopsy confirms nursing student Gifty Okyere died of Asthma in her Boyfriend’s room

Three weeks after the tragic death of nursing student Gifty Okyere in the town of Jinjini, official autopsy results have confirmed that she died of complications related to asthma. The young woman, whose sudden passing shocked the community, was found unresponsive in the room of her boyfriend, Edmond Ayomah.

According to preliminary accounts, she began experiencing breathing difficulties while in Ayomah’s room. Despite efforts to assist her, she lost consciousness before emergency help could arrive.

In the immediate aftermath of the incident, Ayomah turned himself in to the local police, cooperating fully with authorities during the investigation. His voluntary surrender and continued collaboration were seen by many as a sign of transparency and willingness to clarify the events leading to Gifty’s untimely death.

Police Service in Jinjini confirmed that a full autopsy conducted by the regional pathologist ruled out foul play. The report explicitly stated that Gifty died due to an acute asthma attack, noting that there were no signs of physical trauma or poisoning.”
