Odotobri MP Hon Anthony Mieh supports BECE candidates with over 1500 Maths sets & assures scholarships for top performers

Hon. Lawyer Anthony Mmieh, the Member of Parliament for the Odotobri Constituency, has given 1,631 sets of mathematics to candidates for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in his district to help them with their impending tests.

804 girls and 827 boys each received a mathematical set, a crucial tool for the science and math components of the BECE, as part of the contribution, which was made during a series of interactions with junior high school seniors throughout the area.

Speaking to the applicants, Hon. Mmieh urged them to study hard and strive for success rather than to be afraid of the tests.

He underlined the value of academic success and promised the students that he would pay for their secondary education if they received an overall exam score of between 6 and 15.

Hon also promised a special prize for the constituency’s top candidate overall.

This program is a part of Hon. Mmieh’s larger effort to empower the next generation of leaders and enhance educational outcomes in Odotobri.
