Kotoko’s mission for double glory is on course, Says Sarfo Duku ahead of MTN FA Cup quarter-final clash vs True Democracy FC

Asante Kotoko’s mission to win the double remains firmly on track, according to the club’s PRO, Sarfo Duku. Kotoko, who are always contenders for domestic titles, are currently pursuing both the Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup trophies.

Sarfo Duku, speaking with Kessben TV ahead of their upcoming quarter-final tie in the MTN FA Cup, expressed optimism and confidence about the club’s performance and their potential to achieve this ambitious goal.

Kotoko is set to face Division One side, Democracy FC, in the quarter-final of the MTN FA Cup at the Baba Yara Stadium this Sunday. The Porcupine Warriors will be hoping to extend their impressive cup run as they aim to claim yet another domestic trophy. For the team, this match is vital in securing a step closer to a possible double, but the match is not expected to be a mere walkover, as Democracy FC is in good form and has shown resilience in their cup campaign so far.

Sarfo Duku, while acknowledging the threat posed by Democracy FC, emphasized that Kotoko’s preparations are on point. “We are fully prepared for this match, and our mission to win the double is on course. We have been working hard to ensure that we are ready for every challenge that comes our way. Democracy FC may be a Division One side, but we have to approach this game with the same focus and seriousness as we would any top-tier opponent,” he stated.
