New Patriotic Party Sets the Record Straight: No Election Review Report Yet

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a statement to address the recent misinformation circulating about a draft report from the 2024 Election Review Committee. According to William Yamoah, Secretary of the Election Review Committee, the committee has not yet produced a draft report, contrary to claims made by some sections of the media.
The committee is currently engaged in consultations with party members and key stakeholders to gather insights and recommendations. The NPP is urging its members not to be misled by the notion that the committee has already formed opinions or reached conclusions.
Yamoah emphasized that when the report is complete, it will be clear that the committee has captured and presented all the concerns of the party members to the National Council. The NPP has also denied the existence of a draft report, stating that the document quoted by some media outlets does not exist.
This clarification comes amid ongoing discussions about the NPP’s performance in the 2024 elections. The party established the Election Review Committee to conduct a comprehensive post-election review and provide recommendations to guide the party’s future strategies.
