Kotoko supporters group, Circles cannot only fill the stadiums for Kotoko home games. Don’t blame us for the low attendance of Kotoko games – Alexander Manu
The Ashanti Regional Circles Chairman, Alexander Manu, has spoken out, emphasizing that it is unfair to place the blame solely on the Circles for the drop in stadium attendance.
He believes that the situation is far more complex and requires a collective effort to address the challenges facing the club, both on and off the pitch.
Manu, who has been at the forefront of Kotoko’s supporters’ movement, expressed his thoughts during a recent interview with Kessben FM. He made it clear that while the Circles have always been the driving force behind Kotoko’s home support, the reasons for low attendance at recent matches cannot be blamed solely on the supporters..
While the Circles play a crucial role in supporting Kotoko, Manu made it clear that the responsibility for increasing attendance cannot fall solely on their shoulders. He called on the club’s management, the Ghana Football Association (GFA), and other stakeholders to work together in creating a more attractive and sustainable environment for both fans and players.
