Support Dr. Bawumia to Become President to Enhance National Unity – NAPO Tells Ghanaians During Campaign at Akwatia

During his visit to the Akwatia Constituency yesterday, Monday 14th October, 2024 as part of his Eastern regional tour, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Vice-Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party emphasized the importance of national unity and representation in Ghana’s political landscape.

He pointed out that throughout Ghana’s history since independence, various regions have had the honor of providing Presidents, highlighting the diverse contributions from all parts of the country.

In addressing a durbar of Chiefs and people, NAPO expressed his disappointment with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and their flagbearer, former President John Mahama, who have suggested that Dr Bawumia does not deserve the presidency.

He stressed the need to promote unity and to eschew divisive sentiments that can fracture our society. According to NAPO, the strength of Ghana lies in its diversity, and it is crucial to embrace this unity as we move towards the future.

NAPO’s visit to the Akwatia constituency not only reinforced his commitment to a unified Ghana but also called for an inclusive approach to governance that reflects the rich tapestry of our nation’s heritage.
