Addressing a campaign launch for MP Andy Appiah Kubi, Wontumi cautioned against supporting independent candidates, stating it would inadvertently benefit the NDC and John Mahama.

Wontumi revealed that the NDC is backing independent candidates in the Ashanti Region to weaken the NPP’s stronghold.
