“Damongo Shock: NDC’s Hon. Garlus Allegedly Assaults E.C Official”
A disturbing incident has been reported in Damongo, where Hon. Adam Muntawakili alias Garlus, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Damongo Constituency, allegedly violently assaulted an Electoral Commission (E.C) official. The incident occurred during the ongoing security services vote transfer exercise in Damongo.
According to eyewitnesses, Hon. Adam Muntawakili Alias Garlus physically attacked the E.C official, punching them in the face. The official has been taken to the Damongo District Hospital for medical attention.
Meanwhile, Hon. Garlus is currently being interrogated by security services in connection with the assault. Audio evidence of the incident has been attached, suggesting a heated altercation between the two individuals.
