Only 7 of the 47 MPs in the Ashanti Region have donated to Otumfuo’s Heal Komfo Anokye project, Komfo the healer goes after the rest

Shockingly out of the 47 Members of parliament from the Ashanti Region, only 7 have so far donated to the all-important project pioneered by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu the 2nd.

As part of the year marking the 25th anniversary of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu on the throne, his Royal Majesty the Asantehene launched a fundraising drive to renovate the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital which has not seen any major renovations works since it was built a half-decade ago.

Members of the public, schools, Associations, Organizations and some public figures have been donating to do cause to transform the ill state of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital into a state-of-the-art modern World Class Hospital Facility.

During the fundraising launch at the Komfo Anokye Hospital in November 2023, a number of prominent figures in and around the Ashanti region pledged their support to the cause but barely five months after the launch, the support hasn’t been forthcoming matching the the energy with pledges.

Unfortunately, only 7 MPs in the region have so far fulfilled their promise to cause.

Hon Adelade Ntim, Nsuta Kwama Beposo

Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Suame

Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Manhyia South

Assenso Boakye, Bantama
