Why is Akufo Addo shying away from signing the anti-LGBTQ bill – Rex Omar and others ready to hit street
Legendary Ghanaian High Life musician, Rex Omar cannot phantom why the President of Ghana, Akufo Addo is shying away from assenting the anti-LGBTQ bill.
According to Rex Omar and other well-meaning, if the bill is not signed by the president they will soon go on a demonstration.
Rex Omar speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News stressed that constitutionally it has been the work of parliament to pass bills and sign by the president by is however shocked that the anti-LGBTQ bill which was recently passed by the parliament had to go the Supreme Court to be determined whether it should be approved as law.
He indicated that they are ready to hit the streets and protest for the bill to be approved as a law.
