Acheamfour Stores dispute: ‘Some family members of my late husband have started taking money from shop operators’ – Wife of the late Acheamfour
The wife of the late entrepreneur, Acheamfour Baah, has disclosed that some family members of her late husband have been taking money from rentees of the stores.
Following the death of the late businessman last year there have been back-and-forths with the rentees and some family members of the late Acheamfour over payments regarding their rents.
The wife of the late businessman speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News stressed that some members of her late family have been intimidating the renters and out of fear, some of the renters have been paying monies to these family members.
She noted since the demise of her late husband some of the family members have suddenly turned their relationship to be marred with her.
She stressed that she has had no hand in the collection of money from the rentees since the demise of her husband but unfortunately, she has been accused of that.
Last week the premise of the Acheamfour stores in Kumasi was stormed with a protest believed to be by renters but the wife said it was some of the family members who had organized that to intimidate the rentees.
The wife has since filed for legal action over the impasse between the family regarding their move to take control of the stores.
