Asante Kotoko and Ghana Football legend Joe Debrah dies

Sad news coming in indicates former Asante Kotoko player, Joe Debrah has reportedly passed away on Friday 27th October 2023.

Full details of his death are not yet established but early reports say the Asante Kotoko Legend reportedly passed away after some short illness.

The talented forward forward who joined Asante Kotoko in the eighties won it all with the Kumasi-based football Club dominating African club football.

Joe also had a stint with the Ghana senior national football team, the Black Stars.

He is on record to be the only footballer who scored against Asante Kotoko’s bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak in every game he featured against the Accra Based football club.
