Osei Kofi Acquah the National Youth Organizer for the CPP writes: EULOGIZING A FRIEND AND A BROTHER DANIEL OKYEM ABOAGYE

Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a Beautiful soul you’ve taken away in a painful way….
In a restless dream i heard this sad news When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence…

Now Ten thousand people, maybe more
are talking without speaking, in their sorrowful mood are hearing without listening and in their pain mourns the sad exit of a great man who through his toil has created dinning tables for countless homes.

People will write Eulogies and praises that their voices never shared whiles he was alive and in our shade of mediocrity
No one will dare
ask why now.

The “Fools” among them will say “they do not know because
Silence like a cancer grows….

Hear my words that I might tell you how heavy my heart is …..

Take my arms that I might reach you and find a shoulder to cry on….

Let my words like silent raindrops fell
And echo in the ears and hearts of all those who never bothered to care know that a Great man has passed on today.

May we all be comforted by the assurance of reincarnation and resurrection.

Daniel Okyem Aboagye popularly known as Wofa, founder of 2MM Express, former member of Parliament for the people of Bantama constituency, this wound you have created won’t heal any time soon.

Journey well brother…..

The words of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel borrowed and amended…..
