NPP 2022 National Executive Election: Party Women Want Nana Ama Ampomah As leader
Various groups within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), particularly women organizers, women MPs, women appointees and other major women stakeholders in the NPP are calling on Nana Ama Ampomah, the current Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser to contest the National Women Organizer position in the upcoming NPP National Executive Elections.
According to the group, Nana Ama has demonstrated enormous competence in the discharge of her duties and they have utmost belief in her capabilities and exceptional leadership qualities.
The group noted that Nana Ama, through unpretentiousness, has been able to deal efficiently with both men and women in various roles and capacities, and therefore, they have a firm belief that she can effectively manage an entire national leadership portfolio.
They further added that Nana Ama is a unifier and getting the nod as the National Women Organizer will further help deepen stability and promote unity within the party which will help maximize the party’s votes in the 2024 elections.
Considering the number of females who lost their seats in the just-ended elections, the group believe Nana Ama is the ideal person to lead the women front to recapture those lost seats and capture new ones.
They also maintained that she has what it takes to also empower and create enormous opportunities for their growth and development.
Nana Ama Ampomah is also noted for her generosity and benevolence in supporting the underprivileged in society.
