The NPP is not intimidating Alan Kyeremateng – Chairman Wontumi
The regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Bernard Antwi Bosiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi says the NPP is not intimidating Alan Kyeremateng in any way as rumours suggest.
According to him, the NPP has always recognized Alan Kyeremateng as a loyal member of the party who has worked hard since he joined the party.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye on September 7, 2023, Chairman Wontumi stressed that Alan’s withdrawal from the presidential race should not be seen as a result of intimidation from the party.
“Nobody is intimidating any member of the party so the public should not perceive it as such. When the delegates went to cast their votes, the outcome of the result was a clear indication that they wanted Bawumia as their presidential candidate for the NPP.
If Alan Kyeremateng had acquired the highest vote, there is no way he would say that he is being intimidated by the party” He said.
He further added saying it is his prayer that God will guide and strengthen Alan so that he will continue to support the NPP with love and urged members of the party to support Bawumia for victory.
