Ogum’s first words: “My first year is to put together a very formidable team that can compete both domestically and internationally”
Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum of Asante Kotoko SC has stated his intention to build a strong team with his second coming at Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Dr. Ogum led the team to its first Ghana Premier League championship since the 2013/14 season during his previous tenure. His coaching prowess led the Porcupine Warriors to a winning finish against Medeama for the league championship with a solid record of 67 points from 34 games.
My first year is to put together a very formidable team that can compete both domestically and internationally. However, you can’t be at Kotoko and not think of bringing success,” He said at his unveiling at the Baba Yara stadium’s conference hall.
The skilled tactician, who has a wealth of experience, will begin preseason training with the GPL heavyweights on Tuesday, August 8 in Beposo in the Ashanti Region.
Kotoko hopes to win the GPL championship again in the next season after finishing in fourth place the previous year.
